Come on guys lets help Adam out !
Hey Adam, what's the status with recovery/salvage?
I'm in Qeanbeyan and have the day off on Friday and dont have to work until Saturday arvo. Plus another mate could probably make it as well.
I would gladly come up to give you a hand.
Me, Dumbdunce and a few others are makeing a big recovery early saturday morning so if anyone wants to lend a hand, give me a pm and come on down to goulburn early on Sat.
Yeah thats going to be one of the first things i do to it. but the problem is that it gets farking cold in goulburn and drving in the rain would suck. Did you get a custom soft top made for it, coz i haven't seen you with one ?
We're all meeting in goulburn at 8-8:30 at 77 Lagoon st on saturday. Its a big white motel with a big archway entrance. There are five 4x4's at the moment but the more the merrier. Any help appreciated. Get here early for a free hot breakfast

The OL Recovery Team swung into action today.
Top job guys, it was a fantastic, well coordinated effort.
All ran smoothly winching the 45 out of the gully and back onto the track -- that's where the fun started...
It took a Nissan, Jeep and Toyota -- all locked front and rear and straped together -- to pull the wrecked 45 back up the hill. And it was a damn hard slog too.
Close up of cab. This is wayne our designated steerer.
We tried to get the 45 to steer to aid in pulling it back up the track but the steering was FUBAR so we just dragged it up unoccupied.
After much pulling the 45 was back on top of the hill ready to be trailered out. My tyres copped a hiding. A few more loose hanging lugs flew off on the freeway on the way home
Yep, 7:30 and its finally in my back yard again. Pulling it up onto the trailer took ages coz the steering waz stuffed and kept on steering off the loading planks........Out to the farm tomorrow so it can be used for spares
good work everyone! glad to see the 45 was in good hands. Now that it's out adam, how much of it can you salvage, and possibly put on my fourby till you get your next 45?
Good to see the outerlimits fellas helping each other out. Top job!
I'm a ChickenHawk, looking for a Chicken. Better go for cover when you hear my valves clickin'
Cool Adam,
I was a bit worried about you and Wayne doing the last bit and I hoped that it wasn't going to be too much stuffing around to get it on the trailer, so it's good to hear you got it back and you're not still out there!
As everyone has said, Good effort blokes.. should be a BBQ thrown on at MY45's as a thanks!
Hey Bogged,
there is no need for that at all, the recovery effort was a fully catered affair!
Adam had breaky organised for us when we arrived, an esky full of cold drinks while we were out there and lunch of steaks, wedges, chips and salad when we got back.
Thanks Adam, it was a pleasure helping you out...
and eating your food
