Guys is it just a matter of getting inside the car and pushing the glass out from each corner one at a time and have someone standing outside to catch it? My side windows are not the sliding type but are solid. Just want to get them out ready to paint the rest of the car. Easy enough to put back in?
Cheers

How to Replace rear side window frames
1) have everything ready : A MATE!, Metho, rope, rags, screwdrivers.
2) have mate on outside of window ready to catch it cause the glass is lots o $.
3) To start removing the Glass and Frame:
Get inside and GENTLY push on the top rear corner of window, where the glass goes into the frame in the rubber - it will start to come out.
You will be amazed how EASY they come out, and then think how the hell it stays in there! Then just keep pushing until the whole thing is out. Have mate catch the window and frame !
4) Check the part of the body where the new frame will sit for rust and crap.
5) Clean everything with Metho, body of car where window sits included
6) Sit frames side by side then while cleaning glass, swap glass into new frame, take note how it comes out of frame
7) Theres 2 ways to get the rubber to reseat over the body.
1 is to use a small screwdriver to lever the rubber over the lip (risk damaging the Rubber though),
The other is to use Rope to lift the rubber over the lip.
With Rope you sit the rubber inside the groove where the lip of the body will seal to it holding both ends with your hands. Then get mate to lift window up to where it goes, sit one corner of the rubber on the lip (where the rope isnt - eg: pull the ends of the rope away to allow rubber to sit there.)window where it has to go on the body, you get on the inside and slowly pull the rope to spread and lift the rubber over the lip it goes onto.. Check the interior material sits correctly too.
With the screw driver sit the rubber on the body and gently (GENTLY I SAID!!)lift the rubber over the body..
