Did you ever get a definitive answer as to what caused the inferno? (If it was caused by custom-VIC wiring, you can pass on this question )

Yeah they really don't know Phil.
It started in the dual battery module (Piranha) and spread from there as to what caused it they have no idea.
It definitely wasn't anything I've done as I get all electrical stuff done professionally. The only thing I have wired up is my UHF radio, as straightfoward as can be (one negative and one positive wire).
