hey i was just wondering if a 84 model transfer will fit into my 89 model they both look the same but it has the handbake on the back of the where as my handbrake run on the rear drums
plz help need to know asap

Only difference is the e-brake, which can be removed with the 4 bolts holding it to the case, and the flanges which you have to re-use from the 89 IF the 84 is already one with the light switch. If it's a type 2 (1.0 with 4x4 light) it has lower ratios in high and low range. A perfect fit for 30's.
