Bj!

One of the reasons i went down at christmas time was so i could find the best way to tow a trailer with a rig!!!

The best way by far is down the cunningham Hwy onto the New england and then when you get to tenterfield it is a left turn onto the bruxner Hwy!!!

This way is 1000 times better than any other way!!! The road is that good you could set cruise control for 80% of the trip (even towing a trailer)!

The way down threw Jimboomba, woodenbong is one of the worst roads i have ever driven on, let alone tow a rig down!! Even if i was from jimbommba there is absolutely no way i would even look at going that way. I would prefer to drive the extra 30 minutes on a good Hwy!!

It says on their site that bookings are essential, is this true, or are we (spectators) able to just rock up and pay like at LCMP????

At this stage there will be 2 or 3 vehicles from our club coming down. I'll most likely be coming with a mate in an old troopcarrier.

We will be in the MAIN camping area, most likely just up from the shower block!!!!! (the other areas are too small for our group :) ).

We will be flying the O/Limits banner again so you will see us!

You would have to check with Ruff in regards to the shirts!!!

XRCC Round 1

Post by XTREME MMM »

Hi, Am finally back on deck after Round 1 of the winch challenge. I have still only received one entry for Round 1 of XRCC. I will need to have entries this week as I go down to the Park this weekend, I will arrive there on Sunday morning & if any one wants to come & put there 2 bobs worth into course lay out feel free to do so. All you will have to do is pay park fees.

Anyway get the entries in & will catch up with all on the Aussie day long weekend.

Regards David (MMM)

XRCC Round 1

Post by XTREME MMM »

Back again, My main concern is trying to put on an event & having no one turn up which would not only make myself look bad but also Hans & Hideie. All the Outerlimits guys have been very supportive of XRCC so because of that it will be OK. Some might receive there trophies after the event if I do not have enough.

Guys keep working on the rigs & it will be good to catch up again.

Dave,

Would you allow competitors to have an input into the track aswell!

I ask this due to the fact that I am thinking of going down either Wednesday afternoon or early thursday morning. ( i MAY have a couple of days of work at last and we want to get away for a break )

Also No one has more of an idea than the people Competing as to what can and can not be driven.( i should replace CAN NOT with what MAY be Driven ;) )

I would defently not interfere with your dicesion on the track but i have a pretty good idea what sort of stuff makes for spectacular driving and i would be happy to input some ideas if i could.
