landcruiser using water

Post by esp22 »

Hey guys, i have used some rapid seal on mates landcruiser and it seems to have fixed the head (or some of it)...however, it is still using a lot of water...(in 15 minutes - 2 litres of water)...there is no visible water...does that still mean that the water is still leaking through the head..or is it going else where?

Thanks

Should stay away from those rapid seal type of products.

Is it blowing any smoke?

Any visible leaks?

While COLD start it with the radiator cap off. Have you any bubbles in the coolant?

you either have a new water injection system - and its going out the exhaust, or its going into the oil.

2L in 15 min is a heck of alot.
