Every 4x4 owner I know is choosing to hold onto thier truck and mod as they can afford. The option of selling and buying anything else (premodded or otherwise) just isn't as attractive as it once was. The only thing that got people motivated to sell, was the rising fuel prices and ... well... they are coming back down now.
Others who don't already own a truck are opting not to buy one at all untill things in the finance industry settle down a bit.
Chances of getting the price you want for your truck in the current market are not too good. Borrowing money to live a dream is just too risky at the moment.
You would have to be lucky enough to find a buyer who appreciates the value in your truck and has the cash to buy it without getting the banks involved.
Anyway, just my opinion of course.
