Stronger steering arm options

Went out glasshouse on the weekend and bent the tie rod like a banana and snapped the damper nearly in half. Took it off and straightened it with an axe and it got me through the track and home thoough.

What are my options for stronger steering arms and dmaper relocation brackets etc, i was looking at the rovertym ones becasue i was going to get a lot of stuff off them but the way the dollar is atm i wont be doing that for a while...Do white tiger (LRA) make decent ones or 3rd's productions or QT or something, i was thinking about just welding a sveelve over mine but id have to get antother one to start with casue i cant get it straight egough.

While your at it, convert to a county/defender style damper, you'll need the bit that comes of the rod end at the pitman arm, a damper and drag link is slightly shorter

they are so far so good on my fender (3 or so years), get the two while your at it - track rod and drag link.

Also have a look at the RoverTracks damper relocation kit...http://www.rovertracks.com/products/steering.html

I bought one from them - minus the damper - and it is beefy. Much better having the damper on my Rangie up out of harms way.

thanks guys for the info, i ended up taking the beefed up one of my modded 79" for the moment, i just had to spend $160 on brake lines for the front becasue they coincidentally split after having a wheel alignment and ballance....hmmm.
