cheers Ruff. its a bj42 td. gota set of 60s diffs and power steering bits that i'm collecting. after as much flex as possible keeping it pretty low to ground. maybe running 36 inch rubber. guna get someone to do the steering and diff set up. maybe madfabs, lukeys4x4... not sure yet. i've spent hours reading through posts and the bibles on outers trying to broardn my knowlage as much as possible before i start. its my first propper build and i'm not expecting to get it wright the first time but thats all fun aye! i appeciate all the feed back and pms i'm getting in response. thanx again.
they will help you understand how to get a lot of flex from a 40 series. If you want to keep it low do not go SPOA (there is no need). Both of these vehicles use very basic mods to get additional flex (longer springs). Neither of these have hi steer or 60 series diffs. You will have to search a bit harder for info on fitting the 60 series diffs (i can't remember what threads it is in). The width of the 60 series diffs means that the spring perch or spring mounts will need minor modifications. Good luck with the project.
thanx heaps for the links tojo. i'll sit down and have a good read as soon as... already got the diffs and i'm set on a spring over, need enough room to fit decent rubber. i'll try post up some pics of truck as it progresses. pretty new to using this site, where bouts would i post em? thanx again!
