GQ to GU What Swaps??

Post by Remydog05 »

Just out of curiosity what accessories will swap from a GQ to GU?

AS far as I know the suspension lifts will swap fine

just wondering if a bullbar will swap?

and Airlockers?

Rear Draws?

AS far as I know the biggest problem would be because the GU Body is wider?? SO things that bolt on prob wont match?

Thanks All

The Gu chassis has an extra crumple zone on the front of the chassis compared to the Gq. so I dout the bull bars would be interchangable.
Early Gq anf Gu arb diff locks are not interchangable. i beleave the later one's are.
I have not tryed to inter change any of these components. These are just the observations I have made someone may prove me wrong or right. Good luck.
Anything is possible, it just comes down to time and money.

yeah mate the shocks and coils will fit but panhard rods won't.Lower trailing arms are 15mm longer on gu's as well.the rear locker from a gq will go into a gu the front one will but you have to get a part put in so it will work. not sure why though.the only reason i know this is because i put them into an 05' gu ute.
