Yep. Has it got any mod plates/stickers on the car or engineers certs with rego papers??

No doubt your local authorities will have a copy of the document in the archives.

It's probably ONE car thats really actually three cars bogged/welded together. Thats called the "trifecta" mod. ;)

I didn't get any mod plates etc with mine. I've just got to make sure there is a copy of the engineers papers in the car as marked on the rego papers.

RTA NSW don't keep copies of engineers reports so if you lose your copy and your engineer can't/wont supply a new one you're stuffed.

My engineer won't supply a copy and the RTA don't have one.

I sold my car in 2000 and bought it back 3 years later but in the meantime the owner lost the report.

Now I drive a very highly modified vehicle without any proof of what has been approved. Maybe that isn't a bad thing?

The only saving grace is the rego papers say "convertible" which is odd for a Range Rover but that's what it is.
Cheers,

I bought a car from nsw and tranfered it into my name in vic. It was a hilux with a engineered V8 conversion, when i went to vic road with the certificate i was told thats worthless unless its been changed on the data base when the mod was done.
