12H-T that won't rev?

Post by turbo4t »

My HJ61 has some issues. Seems to be starving for fuel. No air leakage but just won't rev hard. Takes ages to get up to 80KPH and crawls up hills at 40 or so. Motor has done 228K and is in great condition. I have done the filter and checked the inline gauze in the pump inlet. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. I changed that pipe last week as mine was also cracked. I just replaced my fuel filter again and it's going up hills at 100 again. Must have been some serious crud pumping through it or a dodgy filter. I do use a bit of festy old fuel from wrecks every now and then. I will hope for the best.
