Done a quick search but way to many results to look at em all, and didnt really find an answer.
My 88 wt sierra has a slight leak in the t/case. I read a thread a few weeks ago on what oil and where to top it up from but cant find it. And does anyone know what seal is gone and how hard it is to replace?]

T/case Oil leak
the top up and drain points are visible looking from the passenger side at the case, they are a bung with a square hole that a 3/8 ratchet fits straight into.

you can see them both there on the right hand side, the drain is at the bottom facing downwards and the filler is on the side just under where the 4 bolts are !

Basically the most comon places for leaks are the input shaft seal, and output shaft seals... Fairly easy to replace too. Seals are about $5 each.

Ok, so after a couple of weeks of not doing much on the car due to Uni Exams im Back to it.
Ive located the problem and taken a few pictures. I gave the case a small wipe to make it more clear.
It seems to be the input shaft??? The ... .jpg[/img]
Sorry about the bad picture quality.
My question is how hard is it to replace or will it be costly? I read on another threat that the driveshaft angles might be to great due to SOA but it seems to be ok. Ive attacted a pic of the suspension setup.
Its a SOA on stock springs also has b ... Cheers Sin

All transfer seals can legitimately be replaced with the case still assembled. The Factory manual even tells you you can.
I have to do my rear output some time soon...
