Air Con Condensor's - GQ

Post by Draven »

Morning All :)

With the heat in QLD being as it is, ill be getting the aircon regased very soon :)..

I dont think it has had the retrofit done for R34?!? gas, i have also been told that this gas is like 20% less efficent, so I was wondering if the condensor is bigger on a late model GQ's 94+ ?, If so I guess I could get one and have that fitted to compensate for the less efficent gas.

Does this make any sense?

Has anyone attempted anything like this before?

Thanks

I Just had my 91 GQ re-gassed last week, Go and find a air-con guy with the old gases, They all have it you just have to find someone who will sell it to you (I have found that refrig mobs that do commercial fridges are the best, got mine gassed for a box of beer)
Last time was through a bus company
