what does the 100 series weigh?
they are some heavy units im the man!! drive it across a weighbridge just about every morning, I think I would know wassup, maybe the sheepskins and stuff add to the weight!!
hands and mums dont count!!!
Ok changed the layout abit...............
I still cant believe that the 4dr Rangie is at around the same weight as a LWB GQ ? ? ?
Also I havnt really got a clear weight amount for the 80series cruisers yet.
Thank you for all the info on the 78 Series and 100series
Anyone wanna add any more makes or models ? ? ?
What about the weight of the new Disco and Range Rover ? ? ?
WHO HAS A BUNDY ? ? ?................ HOW HEAVY IS IT ? ? ?

mine aint no mog rover ...but my hilux with 308, stock 4 speed on 31"s (no bullbar,no winch and fibreglass bonnet) with a full tank of jooce weighed in at 1500kg exactly for engineers report...
ive now got marks delta 5 speed & 35"s. so it'd be a couple'a hundred more.

mostly aluminium? NOT... only door skins, guards f & r, sometimes the bonnet, sometimes the tailgate skins, and cargo floor panel. ALL the rest is steel, body structure, floorpan etc. Plus the alloy bits are generally thicker than the comparable jap steel panel so the weight difference in those few alloy parts isnt that much. Yeah the engines lighter but 100kg here or there in 2000+ doesn't make much difference. Stock Rangies are heavy, underpowered, undertyred, bum draggers.
1989 Vogue 4dr no extras other than dual fuel, 2000kg neat on certified bridge, full fuels, no driver.
same vehicle with steel wheels, bigger tyres, bars, winch, radios, stereo, lights went 2340kg on same bridge.
