OK my truck is SPOA, and has a 25mm spacer on the rear tailshaft... Without it, there is not enough spline length for the shaft.
Not saying this is the problem, but for approx $30, you can improve the situation with a spacer...

bad vibrations only in 2nd gear
im going to rebuild the t-case first because it does need the seals replacing. after that if itss till happening i will get the rear shaft extended because i do need to get my front shaft extened.
how much movement should the shaft have when sitting at ride height? i am guessing non?
because the shaft doesnt have a spacer i dont even know if has been extended as i got the car with the SPOA in it. i would like to know the lengh of a stock shaft.

91 SWB Sierra. 16v 1.6efi, extractors, 6.1gears, SPOA, 32 BF muddys and 2inch bodylift
its probaby has less then 3mm.
the front need to be extened as i got RUF aswell so lot of droop and the front uni will bind. still deciding on wha to do. i think i will go with an extened slip yoke to be safer to get me more contact when the suspention is droped.
