Trying to do a front diff swap on my nav, but the flanges that bolt to the cvs are different. I cant swap the axles out of the diff as there different sizes so i want to see if i can take the flanges off the axles and swap them over as the shafts look the same at that end. Only prob is i dont know how to get it off the axle?
Cheers, Josh.

if ur talkin about the bearing retainers you will have to get them pressed of, the collar will have to be replaced and probably the bearing if ya fark it up gettin it of.
cheers, how does it press off tho, Put something between the bearing retainer and outer flange and press the retainer and bearing all the way up the shaft?

The flange is part of the axle it does not come off. If you want to remove the bearing and retainer from the axle it just press's off, but you will probably need to replace the bearing as pressing off usually damages them

where do those sit in the scheme of things? They dont look like anything ive seen on either the prado or Surf IFS systems- the flanges look more like what ive got lurking in the back of the lux on the semi floating rear- except those have no wheel studs.
