what diff ratios

doz any one now what diff ratios two run in my gq its got a holden 355 in it
and 35inc tyres on it azz it feel lazy on the hiway

its probably lazy because yoru engine is not making enough torque at low RPM's ( about 1800-2200 rpm)

4.1 in ther now it sits on 2200 rpm at 110kph

yeah its not your ratio's, its your camshaft

you need to change cams it so the engine makes more power at 2200
if you go up in ratio's to 4.3 or 4.6 it will be reving more ( and give you the feeling of more power at cruise) but you will chew heaps more fuel.

by power i mean torque not HP

if you want to see what it woudl be like to change ratio's with the current cam setup, borrow some 33" tyres, that will give you the equivalent ratio increase to 4.3 diffs.
