Samurai Coil diffs ?

Post by Rotazuk »

Hi
At work so not much net time , so have not had a deep look for answers . Need some answers in a bit of a hurry .
Looking at Samurai coil axles and set up for another 4x4 , it would be a light duty 4x4 , a shine truck .
Questions , are the coil samurai axles wider that the leaf samurai axles ( you guys refer to as wt ). Also if they are longer are they weaker , like the jimny axles ? If they are the same can they get the h/duty axle in them ? i think they have the odd diffs in them , as in the front is a mid pinion thing , would look at dropping them out .

Cheers
Chris

Width depends on which type of coil diffs you get.
Axles are similar to Jimny.
Bigger CV's can be fitted to newly made up heavy duty axles.
Yes they have a high pinion front.
The solution to making them fully usable and strong is to get 2 new front axles made. Cost is not that great.
You may never break anything either.

So, are the rear diffs the same between coily and WT? i.e. interchangeable?
