so my speedo stopped working just in time for my rego inspection, I tracked down the problem and the speedo cable has broken. Mr repco man says he cant find one and go genuine. Has anyone found a good source for a speedo cable? I just find it really hard to hand over the bucks for genuine parts...its a 96 sierra (leaf).
Cheers!

speedo cable
Before you diss genuine prices, how about finding out what the price is?
With some of the stuff I've bought lately the price difference was so small between aftermarket and genuine it wasn't worth buying the non genuine part.
Personally, I'd go wrecker 2nd hand before aftermarket in lots of cases - the non genuine stuff is crap.
Steve.
