Carby Fuel problem

Post by Ausi fj »

I have an 83 1lt sierra with standard carby. The sierra is currently cut down into an offroad buggy for my kids. The problem I have is when the kids drive it slow the carby seems to flood and the car stalls, Does anyone have an answer to why this would happen and how can it be fixed. :? :?

Possibly the needle/seat assembly in the carb.
If the Viton/brass seal on the needle is damaged it will let fuel in even when closed and will flood engine.
