NP body lift

Post by Cooee »

Hello all,
i've had my NP for a few months now, and given it a bit of a bashing. First it got a suspension lift ( Tough Dog ) 65mm front and back. But it still is not enough, so the question is " has any one heard of a body lift being done to an NP " ?

It took me weeks to find a rear bar, so i'm hoping this post may speed up the process on this question.

Thanks in advance. ;)

you can not do a body lift on the new pajeros because they are a monocoque design .
they have no frame , that allows you to put spacers between the body and chassi

it is true, you can't lift the body. there are some companies in japan that make some very serious lift kits for the np and nm pajs which involve spacing the suspension down from the body to increase body height. Big Run Dunk is one company that come to mind. I don't know there web address off the top of my head but google is your friend.

Yes there are 2" and 4" lift kits available for NM/NP Pajero's.
These kits are available through Big Run Dunk in Japan and are extremely expensive (around $3500 Aus).
http://www.bigrun-dunk.co.jp/dunk/sus/index.htm You can use http://world.altavista.com/tr to translate to English.
They basically lift the monocoque body off the running gear as Mike described.
I don't know anyone in Oz who has imported and installed any of these kits.
