D40 Navara wheel adaptors (6 stud 114.3mm to std 139.7mm)

Post by raptorthumper »

My best mate has a D40 Navara and he wants to fit ROH steel wheels powder coated Black. Problem is the new Navara uses 6 stud 4.5" (114.3mm) wheels and they are very hard to find aftermarket wheels for.

I have suggested he buys some wheel adaptors like these, so then he can fit any Nissan Patrol wheel he likes.

What do you guys reckon.? $80 US for a pair.

Sounds ok, but i don't know if it'd be legal (probably would have a new navara insured and the insurance co won't touch it if its dodgy)

These guys make some 6 x 4.5" steel wheels, mainly in 15x7's and 15x8's though, not sure if a 15 inch rim will clear the brakes?

Are they 15's standard like the hilux? or do they run a 16"?

And i'm sure theres a few places around that can make wheels - i.e. the same places that people go to get centres flipped etc?
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Thanks for that. I didn't know about the procomps in that size. Thats at least one aftermarket steel rim in a 15x8.
The navaras have 16" wheels std.
