Just wondering how many ppl have done this? wat steel to use? were to cut? any 1 got some pics?

Is 300mm extenstion worth it? plan to run long arms would i get more flex than a A arm setup?

Not worried about body have a ute cab to fit.

Any help would b great cheers!

gday my mate made his a mid wheel base patrol
but he didnt cut the chassis
he cut off all the mounts and cross members and moved them back strengenthing them at the same time
then he made him self a set of arms and got a lenghtened tail shaft and longer brake line

just move the diff back 300mm that will give you a 110" wheelbase and almost a +90 departure angle. depending on what sizt tyre you use

cut the spring hats, panhard mount etc, lengthen arms and tail shaft. This is the better way to go about it and it will keep the engineer happy. Just had mine engineered and he preferred that over cutting and extending the chassis. PM me if you want some pics.
