There is a 5 or more buy price that is significantly better than the $1650 price quoted.

Give me a call, Luke and I will let you know.

I paid $1,485 inc GST for Mals last 49% reduction gear set just before he handed over to MR Automotive.

I think ill be going for the 30s as 4.3.1 is pretty damn good with 35s and 4.3 diffs. I also want to keep a little bit of pace in Reggie for superior.

The 30% should go straight in.
The 49s do require some die grinding inside the case for the larger gear to spin freely.
If you are able to fit the gears yourself then some die grinding shouldnt be an issue.
Head count so far is

Nottie (me) 30%
Rangie on 38s (luke) Unsure
Micka (Mick) 30% I think
Hijack (harley) 49%
Pacman. Unsure
Defmac (january) 49%
Goldrover. 30%
JBELL (Jeff) 49%
Any more just cut and past this and add to it.

I bought the 30% reduction gears some years ago, before 49% reduction was available.

Back then I had to grind inside the case, and part of the selector shaft so the low range gear would clear them.

The low range gear was too large to fit through the hole for the output housing (where it is normally fitted) and had to be fitted through the opening with the rectangular cover.

I don't know what may have changed since then to possibly make the gear smaller.

The prices are yet to be confirmed 100% as it will depend on how many sets there are. As for the time line?...Most replies on here are suggesting that a lead in time of a month or more is needed. I personally wont be affording mine til the new year - probably Feb - so maybe we can start making a serious list of purchasers for a Feb group buy?

So that you get an idea, the price will be roughly around $1200, but this depends on the numbers in the group.
