i have had mine bolted into the seat mounts in my sierra for the past three years and have taken it in and out a few times only takes like ten minutes. Personally i think it is a good way to do it. i have padded the inside of mine with closed cell foam aswell so i can do whatever i want and it never moves and the satuff inside makes no noise !
i just use the four seat bolts and i drilled holes in the bottom of the toolbox for them.
