Increased leverage etc isn't a problem if you do it right.
Had a 3 inch kit on a grand for 5 years, thrashed the crap out of it and never had a problem. Never busted a mount, never cracked anything, never fell over, never started grass fires or got your sister pregnant.
Steve, you really need to stop judging everything by your own victorian biased standards. The higher power, lower stance, less flex of victorian trucks doesn't do so great on Sydney sandstone.

It comes down to what might happens if you have an accident injuring a third party, for instance, or if you are asked to provide a RWC for your vehicle to rectify a defect notice.
Ignorance, or "getting away with it" doesn't make it OK - the process you need to go through to drive a legal car is there whether you choose to use it or not.
