depends what your budget is? Bigger straight through exhaust, chip.
D22 Navara....hydro coilovers, hydro steer, 42's...

are the d22's 3ltr turbo the same 3ltrs in newer patrol's?

even if its not a exhaust and chip would do some improvment

D22 pre 2008 uses patrol ZD30 but with normal turbo and no intercooler.

cheap mods, block EGR and disable butterflys.
then replace main muffler as its very restrictive.
also adding a catch can is highly recommended.

i wouldn't increase boost without intercooling. they run 15+psi (mines at 18psi without winding up boost).
chipping will help but costs $$$.
