Any speed shop will have them - mail order through VPW as one idea.

You want a proper fuel cell or just a plastic tank?
Fuel cells have a bladder inside a case so are much safer in an impact. They are available from most racing supply shops.
EG: VPW or Revolution Race Gear. http://www.revolutionracegear.com.au/in ... PCID=10309

Plastic fuel tanks are cheap from wreckers. Every falcon sedan back to 1980 has one.
NOTE: Fuel cells typically have no provision for a sender unit.

Oh, and in relation to impact - a plastic tank will be fine but obvoiusly won't like being dragged over rocks, so bear that in mind.

also consider that the foam inside a cell isn't really intended as a long term thing - it degrades pretty quickly and cause havoc with filters etc. once the foam is pulled out of a cell, it's just a big tank with no baffles in it, so not ideal either.

I'd look at getting a proper steel or alloy tank made with baffles etc in it unless it's a quick/fairly cheap build.
