WE Rock Milbrodale 22nd 23rd Nov

Post by alexcliffo »

So I am planning my next few weekends and was after some details on this comp, if it is on.

Are spectators welcome/expected or is it more like a competitors social bash? Need my rockcrawling fix is all... :D

Cheers

Hey, I'm sure someone will delete this if I am totally wrong, but my understanding is that this event is low key and that it is not for spectators.
The Werock crew are working on a big comeback for next year, and I'm sure the sport will be back in a big way in 2009.

Saying that, if you want to get your fix there is a way: volunteer to help with the event. We are always after judges, marshals, recovery crews and other helpers! If you have a capable vehicle with a winch, why not have a good weekend away at milbrodale, and I'm sure anyone you have to recover will shout you a beer on Saturday night (hopefully my esky wont be hit too hard!) We;d welcome your help and if this sport is to grow again we really need it.
You should register with one of the event organisers to let them know you are coming and what you can help us with and we can get you the details. PM me and I can let them know, because I'm pretty sure Sam/Tom/Dave are busy enough already.

If this is right Napsta I would be interested to know.

I am always busy with work but if a beginner can lend a hand let us know.

Event has been canceled apparently... Sam O's business was flooded due to the storms in Brissy.
