Same as you would with a petrol engine but without the performance advantage.(between the turbo and the inlet manifold) Been down that road before with petrol and diesel. With the diesel your best off with only the waste gate controling the turbo presures. With the blow off valve it lets the built up presure between the turbo and the inlet manifold escape, and with a petrol engine it can spool the turbo up quicker. But with a diesel engine it relies on the positive presures in the inlet chambers for the low down power.

Cant see how a BOV can work on a turbo diesel as it doesnt have a butterfly in the inlet to allow charge pressure to biuld up??

Nah mate not a good idea to fit a blow off valve. But if you want noise a,screamer pipe from your waste gate is the way to go. Does not alter performance, can even improve performance. But it can only be done on a turbo with the waste gate on the exhaust compresser housing. It is a dump pipe that has a exit for the exhaust gas and a seperate exit for the waste gate which exits to the atmosphere. (its not a pollution issue as it enters the atmosphere without passing through a muffler) Its has a very PHAT sound but the authority might not like it,its loud. See your local speed shop and they may be able to help you out

Seriously dont waist you time or money on any of the above, you may think it will sound cool/gay wateva, but in a real life situation its a ricer noise addition, mega Dudelux impessing ppsffshshhthtttt sound that gets annoying after awile :D

and everyone needs to chilax a tad, I feel alot of bad energy when reading this thread :D :P

So my final word of advice is BY A HICLONE THERE SO MUCH BETTER

I can't believe anyone is even discussing this - THIS CRAP SHOULD BE IN CHIT CHAT OR ON SOME CAR FORUM.

Next someone will be asking how to fit a quad box of 15" sub woofers into their rock crawler and still have room for a cage. Or better still, how to protect their new bling tyres from getting scuff marks when they go offroad.
