very early rangie rostyle rims.... im sure i saw a rostyle that was riveted at my mates factory..... next time im there i will try and remember to look and see.
as for too narrow.... 9/34 superswampers sugest a 6 inch rim, rovers are 5.5, plus a beadlock will bring close.... defender 130 rims are 6.5 and i thought rangie were 7 inch wide.... these will more than cover the size tryes that i would want to run.... but i do like the narrow tryes....
anyway its a moot point.

Rostyles, series, 90 and 110 rims have the centre riveted to the outer (rather than welded), but that is something different.
Very early Series 1 rims were a 2-piece hummer style rim which could be dissassembled into 2 halves. This wouldn't be possible with the rostyle design, as you couldn't get the cookie-cutter centre shape to seal/clamp properly. These are only 4.5 or 5" wide... (even if you can find some).
