Ok ,
Since we have scaled down the park , we have changed the pricing. You will see I have changed the first post. The Event entry is now $60
Also entry to the park has now dropped. Its now $20 per car /day.
SRRC Club membership is $150 /single or $180 /couple for 12 months which gives you free access to the club grounds.
BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL

Main thing I need to know is how many coming to spectate and how many camping. I will be there Fri , Sat & Sun so just call when your on your way so I can arrange to meet you when you book in. Otherwise you may get to the office or the gate and there will be no-one to meet you.
Pete
PS who else is competing ???????????????????????

It was a good weekend and a lot of fun. Carnage for the 80:
* Broken rear taillight (new I should have then them out earlier)
* re-alignment of roof gutter
* three new dings in rear quarters
* One flat tyre (old war wound finally opened up on way home)
So apart from that not a bad weekend.
It would be good to see some pictures my email is:

A great weekend of playing in the mud. I am now 1 step closer to getting a rear tube bar cause my LHS tail light doesent fit in my redesigned bar. Love that creek. Will remember to remove towbar next time.
My mate was ok again after changing his dacks. I forgot he was scared sh1tless of hights. Thanks to all the guys that helped to recover me from the side of that cliff. That mud was slippery with muddies on. I was feeling for the people behind me that only had AT tyres on coming down the mountain.
Will post pics shortly.
Thanks to Peter for the use of the park. Its good to have a place to 4wd so close to Brisbane. Keep up the good work.

Some pics from Saturday.
!<Hilux4X4>! going hard on stage 2.
Stinger on rocksteps, stage 1.
Sik60 wheelspining out of the creek on stage 2.
Fun decent coming down the mountain after the rain. I forgot the Rangie was following me when I decided to drive down the rock steps instead of going around. Sorry about that mate. You did it ok in the end anyway.

Hey great pics!... Great weekend... good mix of comp stuff... drivin...recovery! It cost me 20 bucks to clean my ute at the local car clean place, hehe. A big thanks to Peter again for the use of his park. More people need to get behind Peter to support this park.
If any of you guys are interested the deaf club is off to Rover Park from 28dec-2Jan (new years). I am now working feverously on the trailer to have it ready so I can tow the LJ down. heres a pic of it.

Hey all
Well , probably one of the most fun and relaxed Trials Weekends I have ever run. Tnks to all who came , competed , spectated and helped out.
STINGER (Dwayne) congrats on taking out the event in the mighty 80 stealth weapon. It just crawled everywhere and when its momentum did stop , you just picked a new line as we held our breath and off you went again. A top effort , 1st place on 710 points (ps 410 + 300 , that includes a DNS for the last stage that we used as a tie-breaker)
Lane , the roar of the mighty V8 was all that we wanted to hear all weekend and you didnt dissapoint. I was conversing with the guys from the Deaf 4wd Club in the bottom of the creek as you assended the valley and we signed things like V8 and spinning wheels and climbing hills , with lots of grinning and thumbs up. Its as if they could feel your viabrations through the ground. They know the difference between a 4 banger and a real engine. (PS go the suzuki weapons lol) Well done on a great drive , lots I think was learnt about comps , navigation and 4wding racecraft. You have a lot of fun ahead of you in that well sorted truck. 2nd place on 1380 points.
BJ , mate , what can I say...... A do or die effort , shame about the outcome and the minimal damage , but what about the first roll. Yep thats right peoples , he rolled twice on the last stage , and drove out of the first one unaided. Awesome to watch (I would like to see the video on YOUTUBE and with a link to here) Unfortunately with the second roll came a DNF and 300 unwanted points , although valliantly after righting the mighty Luxy the rest of the stage was driven. Well done. 1560 points and 3rd place.
To all the rest again thanks for coming for a great weekend with assorted weather (I got sunstroke on Sunday , and shivvers on Sat , nothing the burbon didnt fix.) Id like to say we will do it all again next year , but only time will tell.................
Cheers

My thanks go to my Navigators, John on Satuday and Rachel on Saturday night and Sunday. Also thanks to other competitors and event organiser Peter. It was a lot of fun (maybe I should have bothered with the bonus line on Sunday morning but at least I drove it (victory speach).
Now I am off to fix dings, replace lights and think some more about that duel cab conversion......
Catch u later around the tracks,
