Painting inside floor

Post by Ausi fj »

I have just had my fj45 body sandblasted. I want to paint the floor with a good sealer of some type. I dont want to put in any carpet just use a textured floor paint. Any suggestions on what to use.

I'm interested in this aswell...

also would any of the paint/spray on ute liner type paints (I think they're more like a urethane product) provide any insulation, say for the floor of cab, will it keep heat and noise out?

Supercheap sell Hippo liner which you can brush, roll or spray for something around $180 I think.

brush on is better than spray on because it less likely to trap moisture in application, apprently :D

Im going to get my suzuki done with speedliner. Its heaps tougher than rhino liner and a lot more colours. getting the fire wall done in car colour and the whole inside done in a light grey to keep it cooler than black. Any one wanting it done up this way shoot us a pm and Il put you on to a mate that does it.

I got a price on speedliner for just the floor (1.5m x 1.5m) total cost is $400. A bit expensive for my liking.
