vitara welded diff

im going to weld the diff on my 96 vit swb s/t next weekend,got a mechanic mate that is handy with a welder but has never welded a diff before(he has a good idea of how and with what i have researched on here we r confidant that we can do it) and have access to both an arc and a mig welder but cant seam to find anything on welding vitara diffs specificly,have detailed jobs(including pics) on hiluxes and sierras. so all i need to know is is there any difference with a vit diff??

when welding diffs they all pretty much the same. you will notice once you open yours up it will look very similar to pics in other information you may have seen

thanks for that . . . also i read that u should run a lsd 90 wieght oil in it. . can any one tell me how much it will take???

should take about 1.5 litres.

there's no need to use LSD oil.
