Sorry for the really nooby questions about removing body lift... I actually just want to shorten the 90mm lift down to about 40-45mm...
How many body mounting points are there?
Whats the best procedure to do it? Leave the 2 fronts and 2 rear points? Remove the centre ones, machine them down, replace and jack down the front and rear?
Is there anything that I have to undo before undoing any bolts? Like steering colomn points or gearbox points? Basically I have no idea what I will run into, if one of you guys could let me know I would really appreciate it...
Slab x 2 in it for anyone who wants to help me do it!

There are 8 all up in a shorty. The front 6 mounts use M10 bolts and the rear 2 use M12. Undo all bolts and lift one side of the cab enough to take them all out. If you pick the right spot under the sill you can get all four body mounts off at the same time. It's about 30cm in front of your rear wheelarch. Put the bolts back in before you lower the cab so the bolts line up as it's not much fun trying to line them up once it's on the mounts if the body moves. When you have lowered that side back down lift the other side and do the other four. You will need to get new bolts if you are taking 30mm off your lift blocks, so you might as well just get rid of the body lift all together while it is apart.
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy? I don't know and I don't care.

Thanks Nelso, that answered pretty much all my questions
