Hi Guys and Gals...
My first post is a question (Sorry)
I have owned a RHD 1990 Toyota Hilux crewcab for the last three years now and have done lots of mods including a Hi-Steer set-up from sky off-road in the USA.
My question relates to the oil pan which has been rubbing on the steering arm since I installed the steering.
I head that an oilpan from certain 2WD engines can fix this problem but I do not know which one fits.
The engines that are common here in Canada are the petrol 22re and the good old 3 litre v6 petrol.
I intend to put the truck off the road for a few weeks to do some repairs/ mods so any info regarding the alternative oil-pan would be great.
Thanks and I did try to search first..., Cheers, Danny

Moderators: toaddog, Elmo, DUDELUX
Thats the plan right now, It is currently bent up by about an inch or so (25.4 mil ) and it is now weeping oil.joel HJ60 wrote:How much is it rubbing by? If only slightly why not take it off, chop it up and put it back on.
What gauge is the oil-pan, easy to weld?
I will post a pic next week when I do the work... Thanks
