hi got a 1991 gxl 80 series crusier with 5ltr v8 and want to put some guages in (temp & oil & voltage) but dont no where to put them love to put them on drivers side piller but never seen it done anyone no a good place and got pics ty.brian

Make tyoureself a dashboard pod like the one I did for my 75 series...Easy to do

Holds as many gauges,switches and drinks as you like.

just have your dash recalabrated to suit the oil pressure and tempture, for the new engine, thats what ive done with my 75, i just hate gages every where, its not that dear i think it was around the $400 mark from memory

This is my fibreglass "A" pillar pod from a ricer shop (copy of the GReady style). Was made to suit a Skyline GTR but a bit of filing here and there made it fit ok.

BTW Qld. Tpst. had no problem with them when I went over the pits for the BL approval and they went through the whole rig.

Some good ideas out there i was going to plush mount them in the dash like Guts, but i found it too hard to have a quick look at them while driving, And the Dash pod like crozza wouldn't work in certain modles like a lux, because of the shape of the dash. I would go with a pillar pod of a small pod over the top of the dash where the speedo is. I'm making one at the moment. Will post pics on sunday if all goes to plan
