Help! Jimny Auto hubs not locking in....

Post by Mud Toy »

Hey guys Went for a wheel the other day and got stuck in 2wd and went to engange 4wd and had no drive to the front wheels, the transfer is engaging the front drive shaft and the front axle shafts are spinning, The hub is just not locking the shaft to the disc hub. I can hear a small vacum at the hub when removed, and the 4wd light is coming on and not flashing. Any ideas guys? Or link to a thread that would, i have looked high and low...

some handy info !

you can use sierra free wheeling hubs, all you have to do is take out your bearing locking rings and cut/ machine off the automatic hub guider thing.

there is like a thin ring thats probly 25mm deep thats part of the bearing locking ring and it stops the sierra hubs from going on.

thats it all done !
