Where was stolen from? When was it stolen? Was it on or off the vehicle?

Can you explain exactly what has happened because going by your post it appears it was sold or stolen in early 2008 by a sunshine coast member. And that makes no sense at all

Maybe he wants to sell or swap some leads for info on a bullbar?

Alumninum bulbars are rubbish. Now can I have some leads for a F6A?

bullbar

Post by usedfool »

can't help with leads... rubbish or not the bullbar never made it onto my vehicle as it 'disappeared' from backyard storage known only to one likely person...so ...need some info to track resale point and oh he does live on Sunshine Coast and or BRisbane at times and yes i know i'm sinking in shit creek with no paddle!!! but i;m an optimist

So lets try putting all of that dribble into some sort of English.

You bought a bullbar in early 2008. Yes or no

This bullbar was bought from a guy who may have lived in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast. Brisbane or Sunshine Coast

The bullbar was stored in some backyard since purchase. yes or No

It has gone missing from this backyard. yes or No

You don't know what the resale point was. What the F$%K is a resale point

Do you seriously think anything you have written makes any sense at all. Yes or No

The more detailed, clearly explained your post is the more chance there is of others providing any sort of useful info to you. Currently it is just a mess

We're taking the pi$$ because your posts are really hard to understand.

Is this right:

I bought a bulbar from an outers member in early 2008

I put in in my back garden but only that outers member knew it was there

It dissapeared.

Your asking us to help if we know anything.

You don't remember the member's name, location (except you think he sometimes lives in brisbane or the sunshine coast) and have no other contact information.

Is that what you're actually asking?

This is my take on the conundrum of the week,.

1. used fool (probably not his only user name, mods can check) purchased a bull bar from someone, it matters not who.

2. usedfool stored the afore mentioned bull bar in a location only he and an undisclosed outers member were privy to.

3. the afore mentioned bull bar disappeared.

4. the party of the first part (usedfool) thinks the party of the second part (undisclosed outers member) has stolen the afore mentioned bull bar and on sold it on the outerlimits4x4 forum (maybe even to another outers member (who shall be henceforth known as the party of the third part).

5. the party of the first part (usedfool) wants the party of the third part (?) to dob in the party of the second part (?) and have to give back the bull bar and loose his cash.

if this about right?

Peter.

so now we need to narrow down form the 300 or so members from the sunshine coast who owns a Sierra, has recently bought or sold a aluminium bull bar and all will be revealed.

Oh god... if this guy stole it and hid it...

... maybe the ARB bar on my Jimny is actually an aluminium Sierra one painted and disguised to LOOK like an ARB Jimny bar

Nope Froon... checked out a few but none were mine... then again, they were stolen from some place on the Gold Coast, I hid them behind a Sierra bar...

As long as you have a bucket or a Hose you should be okay, otherwise you will be pretty parched.

On that note cant a search not be performed for items that were sold or would that be too Sherlock Holmes style for our liking...?
