I know Extreme Motor Sports @ Northgate are making kits for coilover front shocks. I guess that they would consider a rear kit possibly. A friend of mine has their front kit in his Prado and it makes a world of difference.

ifs is definatly crap,i have 2000 hilux with 31'' muddies and sometimes it surprises me. alot of the time it gets hung up on silly things. i plan on gettin more travel on the rear and a couple of auto lockers, think this would make it really capable! any ideas on gettin good travel from rear of ifs trucks?
Try locking it up front with an auto locker I wouldnt do the rear with anything other than an air locker. Thats just my preference, as for the rear its no different to any other leaf sprung rear so just do the same as others do, longer springs, shackles and longer shocks inverted is a good start.cat 793 wrote:ifs is definatly crap,i have 2000 hilux with 31'' muddies and sometimes it surprises me. alot of the time it gets hung up on silly things. i plan on gettin more travel on the rear and a couple of auto lockers, think this would make it really capable! any ideas on gettin good travel from rear of ifs trucks?
