Odd vibration from TD lux.

Post by cody82 »

G'day I have owned my TD 03 lux now for about 12mnths and its been a good truck except there is a vibrating noise which with revs gets slightly higher pitch and I have been told the fuel lines were causing this problem but im doubtfull. Im assuming nobody would know what im talking about without seeing it but it sounds like its down where the front passinger footwell area is.
Anyway if anybody has had a similar problem or ever come accross this please let me know as I have pretty much looked EVERY WHERE now to find it!

Cheers Cody.

These were fitted with a vibration dampener off the gearbox crossmember or transfer case its a piece of steel mounted on rubber, this may be broken or missing. (landcruiser utes had something similar mounted on the rear tail pipe also)
