mate a diff will cost between 1200 and 1800.

you will need a drag link thet is a little longer and goes from big GQ TRE to small GU TRE.

I have one here for $250.

other then that they bolt in.

You will need to swap the diff flange with your gq one if the smaller gu one is used (2.8 I think)

cheers bru

measure the width from the inside of ur disk brake rotor on either side, so we know how wide the diff is, cause GU is wider than GQ

GU have a more of a drop in the steering knuckle. they generally look newer than GQ diffs in most cases. the knuckles look physically much bigger. and they have a locking ring in the wheel bearings instead of the double bolt. the steering knuckle in general looks much bigger.

the wheel bearings are the same, so is the diff inner seal. just the outer wipers are different and a few other small things.

GQ and GU centres are interchangeable.

hope that helps
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
