hey guys i got a 93 hilux 2.8 turbo diesel and when i down shift into 2nd the car shutters does anyone know why?

check your uni joints, if it is driveline shutter it might be the unis, this happened to mine. it shuttered going into 3rd n second

Check your Centre Bearing for play, its normally the problem. Located behind the gearbox separating the two piece tail shaft. Either it's moved out of alignment or more probably, worn (excessive rotational play).

Its an 80 odd dollar part and not very hard to replace yourself. I did it in about 60mins... and I’m not too bright :)
