1.6 carbie vit motor into sierra wiring

Hi guys,
sorry couldnt find it any where "I know you've heard that a million times"
Im puting a 1.6 carbie vit motor into my 1.3 sierra.
Im about to put it in, but found it has different plugs and I dont know what to do...do I just make it run and disreguard all the plugs im affraid it will run ruff as the wiring runs to the carbie.

any help will be much appreciated.

How much do I need to grind off the 1.3 starter motor to fit it on the 1.6 motor

There is a fair bit of meat there (mostly in the alloy housing bit) that needs to come out. about 1/2 cm

The way I have done it in the past is to grind a bit, color it in with a white board marker and refit, The whiteboard marker comes of easy to show you exactly where it is hitting. Grind, mark repeat until no more marker comes off.

Cant recall much on the wireing for the carb etc sorry.

Which plugs are different?

Mines got the conversion, headers, extractors etc were all reused from the 1.3.

I had some troubles with my sierra wiring it up, but NIK came to the rescue!
