tube for rear bar

Post by tropey »

Just after a bit of advice. Am just about to order some steel tube to make a rear bar for my patrol. The size I am looking at is a 48mm internal diameter with a 3.2mm wall thickness.
Will this be strong enough or is there something else you can suggest.
The price I got for the above size is around $75 for a 6.5m length, are there any other options ?
Cheers.

That is what I made my sliders out of and I reckon they will take a fair knocking. I say go for it.
