Aftermarket Seats

Post by monkeyplex »

G'day guys

As most of you probably know the standard suzuki seats aren't the pinaccle of ergonomic comfort and support in cars, however my seats in my vit are a particularly poor example, having torn along the seams and basically now devoid of comfort as the foam and springs go spongey.

Anyway, anyone put aftermarket seats in their zook before? I'm looking at a cheap $250 one from supercheap. Is it a pain in the arse to fit seats? I had a look underneath, my seats and couldn't quite work out how new seats would fit??

Cheers

Put a pair out of late baleno similar to the GTI swifts.
Paid $250 the pair.
Drivers side needed small mods on the outside rail, passagers none.
Current ebay quote on a rolled sierra

The roof is a funny shape. Some would say it's artistic, like the Leaning Tower Of Pisa, or Minnie Driver's head.
