i got a superior flex arm for xmas, ok i brought it for myself ;) its only for one side as im running drop boxes, just wondering if it matters what side it goes on?

It goes on the passenger side as far as I know. And it does matter I think but I don't know why from the top of my head.

If you read the beginning of the original thread Greg says its to do with torque transfer.

And you will notice which side it goes on is the side that has Superior Engineering engraved on it ;)
