2HT engine

Post by Fishin' Dave »

Is there such an engine as a 2HT ? - not a 12HT
Guy reckons his has a 2HT, not a 12HT and it is rare (tubo obviously)
Did a search and can't find anything.
Any comments on it?

Thanks
Dave

The 1 prefix does stand for direct injection.

It'll just be a 2H + a turbo.

He might just be confused, as some sites such as redbook actually say that the HJ61 has a 2H-T, rather than a 12H-T.

no one even thought it was an 80 series
did not occur to me either
that it was the second digit that was wrong all along

best way is to look at the engine no. it does not lie
