hilux - forerunner diff swap ? axle splines ?

Post by mrRocky »

Just a quick question regarding the interchanging of diff parts.
had a search around and can only find dribs and drabs of info.
Q1 can i swap diff centres from my 85 hilux to a 90 surf coil diff
Q2 will the surf axles be the right spline for my 85 diff
Q3 if i choose not to use the swaybar on the coil diff will it give me mass
body roll, or do i need to run some kind of stabaliser bar?
i am swapping over all of the upper and lower arms, and plan to make them all about a foot longer, and use 3-4" lifted springs.
any thoughts or input appreciated

Same Diff centre in the rear. Everything will match up. You can keep the sway bar but it will limit the flex.
